About Insulation Finders
Insulation Finders is a free matching service — not an insulation contractor. We do not install, quote, or supervise insulation work. We publish local pages for insulation topics, capture project requests, and route each request to the one vetted local contractor who actually works in that market and handles that project type.
The insulation industry is full of shared-lead marketplaces where one request gets sold to five or ten contractors who race to call the homeowner first. That is bad for homeowners (spam calls, mismatched crews) and bad for good contractors (low close rates, price-only competition). We work the opposite way: one exclusive partner per project, matched by real service area and project scope — residential to residential, commercial to commercial — so homeowners get a single accountable quote and partners earn their market on fit and follow-through, not speed-dialing.
Our public partner directory at /partners lists the contractors currently working with us. If a market is not represented there, we do not have an active partner in that area yet and will say so before taking your request.
How we describe ourselves — honestly
- We are a referral service. We do not employ installers, hold contractor licenses, or carry installation insurance.
- We do not have local offices. Location pages describe the market, not a physical branch. Your project is handled by the one vetted local partner covering that market.
- We do not publish reviews we did not collect. When you see a contractor name on a partner profile, look them up on Google or the BBB directly.
- We do not guarantee contractor licensing or insurance. We collect and confirm this information at signup — always ask your matched contractor for a current Certificate of Insurance and verify their license with your state licensing board before signing a contract. See our contractor standards.
How your information is used
When you submit a quote request, we share your name, phone, email, address, and project details with one vetted local insulation contractor in your area so they can contact you about your project and give you an accountable, itemized quote.
